We ask all Rotarians to “R-I-S-E” to the occasion to make Camp RYLA a success. R.I.S.E. is a simple, 4-step process that will make registration easier for Rotarians and RYLA Support Staff alike. R.I.S.E. stands for:





These are the 4-steps that all Rotarians will need to complete in order to send campers to RYLA! If you are a Rotarian/Club who has previously sent campers to RYLA, don’t worry, the steps haven’t changed. We are just trying to make everything more accessible by providing detailed instructions online so that you may use this page as a reference and reminder for information and deadlines.


Step #1:

Club Reservation Form Submission

Ends November 30th, 2017

The Club Registration form is necessary for all Rotary Clubs expecting to send students to Camp RYLA. The cost for each camper is $610.00.

Step #2:

Perspective Camper Interviews

Begins February 1,  2018

It is suggested that Rotarians follow an interview process to select campers for RYLA. This allows both students and Rotarians the opportunity to meet and discuss leadership, values, and expectations. Below we have a downloadable PDF of interview questions. Feel free to tailor your questions according to your interview styles and preferences…this is an example and good starting point.

Step #3:

Camper Selection

Completed by March  15, 2018

Once you have completed interviewing your camper, it is time to make your camper selections. At this time, you will notify the campers you have selected and direct them to our RYLA 5170 website where there will be clear instructions for them to register with camp. Camper registration will be available online starting February 1, 2018.

Step #4:

Execution – All Applications

Completed by April 30, 2018

The final step for Rotarians is to keep in touch with perspective campers as they work through completing registration. Upon completing their registration, they will be asked to email you a copy of their camper information + the RYLA medical and release forms. Additionally it is the Club Chair’s responsibility to print and deliver camper information to the District RYLA Co-Chair – Joanne Mansch (see address below).
